SPS help

Quick question can I add Zoanthids right next to The SPS in that rock at front? and between the euphillia coral?
you can place them wherever you want if you have the time and willingness to prune as needed.
Generally speaking LPS like Euphillia will grow larger and faster than SPS coral. Euphillia also has very strong stingers meaning they will obliterate nearby non-euphillia corals. Eyeballing your fourth pic with the torch- it seems okay to me - but not sure where that SPS is that you mention.

Orange cap too is very nice Plus they have it in red too
yep - orange cap is very, very hardy too. Mine has been through the power outage of sandy and then subsequently the air conditioning fail of 2019 (my home only) and still survives today. My kids are annoyed as they say my tank is just orange now. It doesn't help that all the other "colorful" corals didn't make it. Anyways I digress - I would highly recommend a few caps. Monti caps are the only sps coral in my opinion that can grow as fast as LPS.

Hi everyone.!! I had my salinity at 23 this morning and just noticed coral likes more than 0.21 -0.22 so I didn’t add fresh water today to try to keep it that way... do you think is that okay? And what salinity you guys run your systems???

my system is .026 .holding back on fresh water really does not do anything. If I had to raise salinity I would make a 5 gal bucket of .026 heated and ready to go.5 gallons taken from tank/add new water from new water bucket.Let sit for a day recheck levels.Repeat if necessary then daily add ro-di for evaporated tank water.

Just got home but later will check Salinity and do as Instructed. Will bring it up to 0.26 and I’ll also try to find out how much it evaporates a day so I’ll add the same Amount of water every day...
thanks....:)

Looks great ...quick question - what kind of sand bed are you using? Reason I ask is that I have black sand and the drawback for the type I had was that there was iron mixed into the particles...making the sand highly attractive to mag floats. You can test it by placing a magnet on the outside of the glass to see if the sand is attracted...(or better yet, see if it sticks to a bag of sand outside the tank).

This morning I saw one of my WD been picked out by a dancel fish.
Are they known for this because I had no idea!
This coral had lost of pe in the Frag rack so placed in the main rocks lots of flow/light so should be perfect right but didn’t open enough and looked stressed so put it back.
Was doing better there and I decided to put it back in same rock around a week ago but in the button and looks like this this morning..

I have an azure damsel and I have never seen it go after sps, they will be very territorial against over fish or my hand. A few damsel fish have been knock to be sps pest predators and eat bugs on them, but I haven’t heard the azure doing that.
