Squamosa Clam

recently put a squamosa clam in my tank and it looks like hes got aiptasia growing on the shell and possibly inside. i found one of these guys growing in a dead coral, pulled the rock, broke off the coral and thought i was clear. now i see more, which could be unrelated- could have come one the clam. last time i checked, clam had attached himself to floor. i guess i could get a razor blade, cut under the foot, pull out and remove the one on his shell, but what about the one inside....

I wouldn’t move a clam for aptasia. If you see one
You have a hundred. It’s almost impossible to get rid of aptasia. You can control it with predators that eat aptasia. Removing it by hand does nothing.

Think I am in the same boat with the Vermatid snails. I need to get something to eat them.
