That's good to know, i never thought about dosing calcium to keep the coraline algae up. I've had pretty good luck growing coraline algae its all over 3 sides of my tank but a little extra help can't hurt.

Holy crap what a beast. it looks so big now that i have it. the ASM G4+ is probably a little oversized for a 215 but I didn't want to regret it later and have to purchase a bigger skimmer so i went as big as i could fit under my stand.
