Steam Punk Lamp

That will be my last Steam Pun lamp for a while. I am working on a Steam Punk angler fish that so far is coming out very well but it is a real pain to build. I am designing as I go along and get all excited when I complete another step.
It will be electrified but am not sure it can be called a lamp. I am not sure what it will be called, probably scrap metal but I will see.

I'm liking it Paul. Pretty ingenious using a copper toilet bowl float. Now if you add a weed LED as the lure, that would be wild!

It is going to have that. Already planned. :cool2:
It's green eyes light up, it's mouth is ful of teeth and there will be one of those lightning balls in that hole in it's side along with red lights in it's mouth and maybe his gills, If I add gills.

That is wild looking Paul! Nice job. Now don't go giving that you your grandchild as a nightlight. That would certainly give her nightmares. :ohnoes:

I need to take a video because that Tesla glass bubble thing is totally awesome especially in the dark.

That's hysterical! You've definitely outdone yourself. [emoji106]

How is the new one coming along? It is 3/4s finished. I still need to finish wiring it, install the "nuclear Reactor and the base.

Here it is next to the finished one.

New SteamPunk "light thing" angler fish is completed.

Now I need to know which one people feel is nicer so I can keep it, the other one will be sold at the art show.

I can't decide.

I am designing a porcupine fish but am still having some difficulties with the design.

They're both equally impressive! I think the blue-eyed beast has the best teeth and would make a great baby shower gift, lol. [emoji16]

Thanks. The blue eyed one has brass teeth. I had to cut each one individually out of a sheet of brass, very time consuming as the thing has a lot of very tine teeth and I cut myself numerous times inserting them. I wanted teeth that were wider at the bottom and come to a very sharp point. The first one has wire for teeth.
I also like the gears on this last one that "open and close" the mouth. In theory of course.

I started building a steampunk porcupine fish. I am not sure how this will come out. I also ordered another 1920's telephone call box exactly like this one.
But I am not sure exactly what I am going to build out of it as nothing hit me yet.

I just finished another lamp made out of a 1910 telephone call box. The red handle turns it on, the tube lights up red and the brass thing on the back right is a vintage lawn sprinkler.

They keep moving the art show back so I will be selling some of these soon. Yesterday I got a call from my town and they want me to display them at an 800 persons Veterans event at a park on a beach here on Long Island. It should be fun.

This guy is finished, And I love him. He is not plugged in here which make his eyes light up green like mine

My town was having a Salute to the Armed Forces and they asked me as a Veteran to come and display my Steam Punk stuff for the event. It was on the beach and very cool. There was also about 50 vintage cars there as well as bands etc.
That's the first time I wore my Dog Tags in almost 50 years. I am surprised I found them

Have you made a steampunk QT tank to isolate the new Porcupine fish?
He's liable to give the others stray electrons.
