I'm going to pick one of these up soon. To get this straight, to dial back the flow, all I need is this $10 item on FS: http://www.fish-street.com/12v_to_24v_power_supply_for_jebao_wp-60_wp-40_wp-25_replacement_pump right?
And for my 36" 65 gallon, would it be better to get a 25 or a 40 that would run at reduced power? It seems like some people prefer the wider flow they report getting from the wp-40 as opposed to the 25.
yea you could get one of those. some others, like me, got one off of ebay for around $5.

i have a wp-25 on my 40b that is 36" and i have to dial it back a lot. i think it would be powerful enough for your 65g. remember the wp-40 is a lot bigger i think and may be more of an eyesore in a smaller tank. its up to you though. i also got mine from ebay and they have great customer service and free expedited shipping.
