So I’ve been watching this Duncan head grow and today I noticed that there are now two new heads growing.

Started to dose afr. 2.5 ml to begin. Alll was at 6.4 before water change,7.2 after.

So. Just a quick update.
I removed the AI Prime 16HD and installed a Radion XR30. It’s definitely overkill. Great coverage though, as the light is about the same size as the top of the tank.
I’m too cheap to spring for a $100+ mount, though so I ended up using a desk mounted monitor stand and making risers out of 2x4:
Also I replaced the old powerhead (Sicce 1000) with a Hygger Mini. Flow is a lot better although I’m still not convinced I’ve got it just right yet.
I’m running the AI David Saxby profile thru Mobius on the light at 35%.
Without a par meter getting the light right will be an interesting endeavor.

Back to the Prime. XR30 was not a good fit. Could get the light where I wanted at the top...but the bottom was the same as the top...not good for a mixed reef.
