suggestion and recommendation on blenny

I want to add blenny to my tank but do'nt know what yet.

here is my situation. I have 6 firefish (3 firefish 3 purple firefish), a pair of yellow watchman goby (2" in size). I used to have a lawnmower blenny and he beat up my yellow watchman goby and everything else in the tank include blond naso tang, hippo tang. I took the lawnmower blenny out of the tank. I am opt for a different blenny such as Midas blenny, sailfin blenny, starry blenny. Can I put both Midas blenny and Starry blenny in the tank with out conflict between them and my yellow watchman goby?

You would be ok with a bicolor their nice. A midas should be ok . You have a 6' tank so you should be ok, thats a lot of room for them

I have a starry blenny and he is a fun fish and mine is a good boy. Midas might be a bit more difficult, yellow(like watchman) and might be similar to firefish in its habitat. Bi-color might be a very good choice.

I had a bi color and lawnmower in a 150 tank The bi color would dart out for food but if he stayed out long the lawnmower would mow him down. he didn't bother any other fish though.

I just buy the Linear Blenny from AO and he is huge like 6" long. he is doing great but he hang out right infront of my yellow watchman cave. I saw him grab a mouthfull of sand out of the front of the cave. i think he try to get insde this cave to kill those 2 watchman. man, this is sick. lawnmower now linear blenny try to get my yellow wwatchman. what the F.

Oliver im guessin the watchman are small, atleast smaller than 6". Any fish 6" especially another blenny can be aggressive toward a smaller fish. Or any fish for that matter. 6" is a big fish set in his/her ways

First off, thank you everyone for your help and suggestion. I have 2 Good news and 1 Bad News

1)My LInear blenny (the Giant is named for him/her now). actually calm down and not fighting with my watchman. they are kinda sharing the same rock now. the rock i have have a big hole on top that is where the Linear Blenny rested in. While the Yellow Watchman dig their holes underneath the rock. I pay very careful attention at them and they are fine now. I even put a camera on them to see any aggression when I am not around. I am so glad that the Giant is ok with Yellow watchman. Yellow Watchman come out to eat the same time with Linear Blenny. Whoa man, these fishes business really get my heart on and off and sweet with butterfly tommy just like dating time (unknown outcome on statistic)

2) My Red Mandarin Dragonnet I bought at Ocean Gallery II is eating frozen food. I notice this for a week already. He comes to the same spot everytime I feed the tank and I saw him eat frozen mysis shrimp everytime.

3) Cyano is not show up at much in the rock anymore but now start to show on sand surface. I don't know how to get them off the sand surface. the rock, I vacuum it out. Sand, I don't know how yet.

If you have the room a Midas blenny is really nice. I have a tailspot blenny in my 40g. Those two are my suggestions

I can not add Midas anymore since the Linear is in the tank. Midas definietely kill the Linear. How big the tank are you talking about? I have 180 gallon tank. if add tailspot and Starry Blenny with Linear I don't know. I love starry blenny but afraid .. so afraid

You can vacuum sand very similiar to live rock, it just takes a little more effort. Use a gravel siphon and put it down there and just pinch the tube so you are not sucking sand up and it just kind of tumbles in the siphon. Don't go to deep or you can release some nasty stuff, but if you do the top surface you should be ok. Most people will do it right before a water change just in case. Good luck.

You can loosen it using a turkey baster few minutes before water change ... let the sand settle and then it will come up easier.
Glad they are getting along, you are a trip I wish I had your enthusiasm. ;D

Use airline tubing it's easier to just skim the surface with a thin hose. It takes a little longer but it works and doesn't suck out the substrate.

keep everyone update on my status here with blenny.

My Linear Blenny (the Giant) is getting along with everyone in the tank which make me so happy. I add in a 2" starry blenny and they are fine too. no fighting.

next question is can I get two mc'corse flash wrasses in the same tank?
