Sulfer to help control nitrates

Does anyone use sulfer to control nitrates?
If so:
1) Any negatives for using sulfer?
2) Does it really work?

1) None that we've seen
2) Yes, very well!

We're using a Coralife 250g dual chamber calcium reactor with sulfer and matrix in chamber one and crushed coral in chamber 2. Our nitrates have been a steady 0 to 0.4. I'm sold on it.

HERE is link to a rather long thread on the topic. There is some good info in it. There's also some garbage that sounds impressive but isn't accurate. We've been running it for about 10 months and are really happy.
