I’m taking it slow and easy with setting up a 125 that I was given by @Paulie069 (aka the man) and finally honing in on what to do. It seems drilling is far more recommended than an over-the-top overflow so I’m getting myself ready to drill so next comes planning the overflow, plumbing, and sump. I currently run all over the back equipment on my 65 so this is new territory for me. Any wisdom/guidance is appreciated.
It seems the ideal size for a sump for the 125 would be a 55. If anyone has anything available for that let me know. I toyed with the idea of that 180 from @amado and putting it on a guardian workbench like @DangerDave but smaller in the cabinet is probably best. What’s the best strategy for me to find or make a good sump?
I have to play with how things lay out in my basement but ideally I’d love to set it up peninsula style, though I don’t known if that’ll work. Even if it does, I’ll be able to have plumbing on both sides so intake and return can be set up same side or opposite side.
