Hey guys. Im in the process of setting up my reef tank. Im switching from a canister filter to sump and was wondering what i should put in to my Aqueon model 4 sump. Right now I have an Aqua C remora skimmer that i want to re-use and i also want to establish a refugium in the pump. Any ideas or how-to guides would be great...

As for the Aquascaping, i want to build 3 seperate structures with bridges joining the structures (hope im explaining this correctly). Any ideas on how i can build this? Should I use epoxy or just wedge the rock or maybe even egg crates.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.... Thanks

Welcome to the club! You want to re-think the use of the Remora skimmer, it's way under powered for a 120. The regular Remora is only rated at 20 - 75 depending on bioload. The pro is rated at 50 to 120 still not enough if you are going to have a couple of fish and corals. Skimmer is one of the most important pieces of equipment you have.

What kind of skimmer do you recommend?

I have a SWC 180 on my tank (70gal) which is a little overkill. The SWC is a good line of cone skimmers for the price. Look around I bought mine used a got a great deal.
