I need to make a T5 fixture for my tank soon and I looking for the article of T5 light that Hawkeyes posted back then.

thank you very much for these articles. I am looking for the dimension of the light bulb so I know where to place the end cap. any suggestion ? I am looking at the 60" T5.

you really should get an OLD bulb to be sure...
if you want, you can stop by my house, i have 2 used bulbs for you.

i just measured it, the FAR SIDE on the both end-cap ---> 59-3/8

i also left 2 used one outside of my garage - done.

i have a icecap 3 bulb 60" t5 retro kit that i bought from a member and never used, it has the ballast, reflectors, and endcaps. message me if you can use it

I will return your light in a few weeks or earlier. unless you want me to discard the bulb.

those are some half used bulb, you can still use them for 3 more months, and no need to bring them back.
