T5?

Thinking about going to T5 from 16" black box .And they are not adjustable! Is there a break in from black boxes ? Or just set it and forget it?

I "set it and forget it". Mine is about 12" above tank

If you run 4 tubes you can also run 2 first for a week and see how the coral respond. Would be nicer to keep the LED also.

I would keep the leds as well. And I started with 6 hours a day had to cut it bit to 2 of them 4 hours and the other 2t5 2 hours on different timers, then ad time weekly half hour or full hour depending how your coral behaves
