Picked up this sunken ship, about 30 inches long. It's made of resin and will soak it in vinegar bath before using, then good rinse and dry.
Do I need to do anything else? Was in a FW tank.

Throw it in. If you are at all worried and I don’t thing you should be you can throw it in a bath of fresh tank water. Salts a real good sterilizer

Matt, my plan is to place the ship with rock to make a sunken ship affect. I want to glue the different leptos to the sides and top f ship and see what happens.

It would be a different look for sure. Only down side to anything in a salt tank is itll turn green. So youd be cleaning it with a toothbrush pretty much on the same schedule as cleaning your glass.

Great idea Mark. I was very into diving for several years and always look at reefing as a way to bring that back. Took many sink Ives-that’s awesome. Would love to see that when it’s set up.
