Phil. How about a 115. 48x18x30. Single overflow, used. Same footprint as your 90, but 30" tall. I happen to know one available. Probally the same price as a new stand.

That brings on 2 problems, first I gain nothing in width which is what everyone says helps with the Aquascaping, and the 30" height could be a problem with lighting that extra depth.

Pete. I was giving one away on Monday. Full setup with lighting and everything. Plug and play. I wish you could have posted sooner since it's spoken for now.
Let me know when you need a hand and I'll be there.

<< more than willing to lend a hand.. and for whats it's worth the house looked great from my vantage point in the dark! :) lol

If you feel your pump is not doing its job due to high head presure, raise the sump in the basement cose to the cieling. Build a stand from cheap 2x3s or old furniture to sit it on to gain height.

I always thought that Friends of Dorothy was urban legend. I guess not! BTW: Not a personal Friend of Dorothy's but I know quite a few of her acquaintances!

How about a "Friend of Bill W" (lets see who gets this reference..

Well I found 2 positives if I go the 120 upgrade route (assuming I can even find a tank I can afford) - I had the forethought to run a 2inch drain pipe from under the stand down to the basement sump. So assuming a 120 uses 2 corner overflows, I can tie them into the existing line with a T - so no extra time and cost to run another line downstairs.

Same thing for the return, I can just "T" it.

Pricing a replacement stand for the current 90 vs a 120 is only about $30 difference, so now bottom line now is can I find a 120 for very very very cheap.

Just remember...PeteFest is just around the corner. It will take at least some mouse ears to earn a new tank, Mr. Man.

The Great and Powerful ChefPete has spoken...again.

Phil, If the stand will hold out a little longer, HOLD out for the 120, you will not regret it. I'm sure you'll be able to find one soon enough, just moniter the stand, Just in case!

Thanks again for the inverts, I really appreciate all the time, effort, and delivery involved. Let me know when you need help changing out the tank.

I don't think any disaster is immenient, I have noticed the bow about 2 months ago, and the lip has only moved 1/32" since them. The stand doesn't have any left to right movement or shaking, so I don't belive pancaking will be a problem, but by the same token, I can't let it go too long.

I want to have it resolved one way or another by the end of March. (though I have to live through Pete-fest first).

If you only want 1 overflow go with perfecto, mine has 1 corner overflow much nicer and easier to hide than the AGA duels or off sets.and they give you the overflow kit for FREE.

Why don't you put a WTB thread up and see if someone wants to make one for you? I doubt the cost to make it would be negligable from a 90 to a 120. I seem to remember some guys making some nice stands.

Also I think Jim sent me the link where he bought his stand and it was pretty nice too.

I have a cherry color AGA 120 stand with canopy if you're interested. Long story on why I won't be using it, but it's available and is near Morristown NJ.
