test Kit Comparison Mag and Alk

I purchased a CA, KH and Mag test kits yesterday made by Reef Factory. Today I did a comparison of the CA Reef Factory test kit against the Salifert test kit.

First its packaged well; one thing I did notice was all the chemicals were liquid and there are 3 of them.

Using Reef Factory the test was pretty simplistic and along the same lines as Salifert. Add chemicals to water and watch for the color change,

Reef Factory Mag - 1500+, the color change did not happen with 1ml of solution.
Salifert Mag - 1485

Reef Factory Alk - 5.45
Salifert Alk - 6.8

Conclusion -
Overall the kits are simple to use but in my opinion results are way off to Salifert. I have been testing with Salifert kits for over 3 years so feel very confident with them.
Reef Factory will be trashed. My corals are all doing well so I don't trust the Reef Factory results.

Edit - I just noticed the test kit expiration date for all 3 is 2/2025, few weeks away. Not sure if that is causing the issue with bad results.

@Eric, was worth a shot but sticking with Salifert and Hanna. I just found my Hanna Alk tester and will order solution.
