does the quit counter include the cost/time/effort needed to go out and purchase? I recall my roomate in college always getting the car and driving out to grab a pack. With gas prices over $3 here...it adds up! :)

Phil, the ticker is pretty accurate for me because we used to get cartons at Ft. Monmouth once a week when we do the grocery shopping.

I think I forgot to mention that Alex will start on Chantix really soon. He's already down to 5 cigarettes a day - without any pills or patches.
