Very nice, my wife also loves seahorses I just thought they were to much trouble to get to eat frozen food.
I also bought those pods they came in very lively. Good luck

Thanks!! The seahorses have lost the yellow coloring. They both came in yellow and faded to white. This is a prime example of why you don't buy seahorses based on color. One of the seahorses gave me a scare. It only lied on the sand and did not swim for the first two days. Slowly, it began to eat and now it is pretty active.

awesome pics!!!

my horses went from black to yellow...mainly because of all the fake yellow coral in the tank.

Thanks! That's pretty neat how yours are yellow from the corals. I want to do an experiment in the future to see if I can influence the color based on the tank decorations.

I will post some pics...i learned about the fake coral via ocean rider..they had a plethora of small mom & pop places to suggest that make stuff suitable for the ponies. Do you run a chiller? I'm pondering the one redfishbluefish has up.

hey i just noticed your heater is in the tank - are you ever concerned they wrap their tail on that? There's no room in the back of the nano to stick the heater?

It's not plugged in. I had an emergency situation and putting a heater in was my last resort. They use the cord to hitch now so I haven't taken it out.

Very nice, man you are one seahorse lovin fool aren't you :)

Yup, yup, yup!!! To think when I first got in the hobby, I never would have considered driving an hour for fish or corals. Now, I am willing to drive 4 hours round trip for 3 seahorses.

I am so in love with your sea horses great job !

Very Nice!!!!!!

Thanks!!

Awesome! Are they eating frozen?

Yup, they fight each other for mysis. It was during feeding time they got intertwined with each other.

One day I will get me some of those beauties! They look great Krista.

Thanks!!

That's a nice set up. I recently turned my 29 biocube into a seahorse tank. Right now I have 2 seahorses in there along with 2 pjs, a Picasso clown and a black footed goby. No issues with feed as I do them seperatly and those seahorses even snap at the kent seaquirt to get the food!

Thanks! That is awesome that you have a seahorse tank! Is there a thread on it? My seahorses also snick at the turkey baster I use. They are pretty greedy when it comes to their food.

No i havnt started a tread yet but i eventually will..i hope to get kore soon too... i even saw one of the horse steal the food right from the fish..they are more aggressive then the fish are..lol
