I would let it work itself out over the next few days then. Your alk will probably hit your running levels first and when it does go ahead and dose to keep it up (while continuing to let the Ca fall).

The good news is that Psammi looks great!

Ahh that's in the frag tank. I'll check tonight and report back. Psammi's in my main (I just happened to have the perfect spot for him, lol). I wanted to be able to keep a good eye on him since he'd been through so much in the last couple of days.

Can you imagine?! I did have to turn off one of my Hydors, but well worth the sacrifice, I think!

You can also float them in a block of Styrofoam.
Great suggestion/idea! I be doing that tonight.
Thanks Carlo.

You're the acrylic master, why not just make a hanger for you probes?

There are tons of ideas floating around the web.

Styro block = 30 sec
Acrylic probe holder = 30 min+

Rich <----- Lazy reefer. Sorta like the mechanic who has the worst running car on the block.

Hey Rich if you get tired of making the Reef Gadgets you could make the Acrylic/Styro floating block probe holders.

I get 10% royalties
