As I have posted when I did my tank swipe everything that could go wrong went wrong I lost nine beautiful corals that were my favorite I also lost a peppermint shrimp and my yellow crown Gobi,, anyway a gentleman who I don’t know that well reached out to me last night and offered to bring me a bunch of replacement corals and a peppermint shrimp not only that also a powerhead fan with wave maker and control panel Brand new in the box it was too much for his 40 gallon tank so he just gave it to me I explained to him that there’s no way I could afford to pay him for the fan at this moment and he wouldn’t hear of it he just told me get your take back together I noticed that you do a lot for other people to
Well people that know me know that I generally am amazed and touched any time something like this happens it just touches my heart
the generosity the camaraderie and just the downright deep kindness of the community in this hobby I truly believe if it wasn’t for Haas I don’t know if I would have met such a great group of people,,

It was generally a great person to meet today he drove all the way from up north to come to my house because he said he wanted to go to beach and go fishing anyway so I was in his journey he had also bought his lovely wife with him to keep him company she seem like a nice lady even know did not have a chance to really speak much with her as a young gentleman I’m guessing mid 20s anyway I want to publicly thank him Again and again and again for the things he helped me out with today
Rodriguez it was great to meet you today my brother and I definitely look forward to you and your wife attending my NJ reefer party after all this nonsense is over
So once again my reef peeps another fine example of our community God bless each and everyone of you and I want to give a shout out to @DangerDave who has just sent me a message indicating that he has a few things to help me out with anyway it’s a great community to be a part of thank you

It was pretty cool meeting you today too. Your set up and seahorses were pretty fun to look at. I hope everything is acclimating well for you. It'll be cool to see how much your tank fills in by the time this covid stuff is done.

Sadly I caught the skunk at the beach today though.

Hey hey hey my reef peeps here we go again. Another awesome person to give a shout out to,, so cool I can keep this thread going ( members make it easy) well met a great guy with a huge tank and a bigger heart

He read about my spilling of my ALK reg and hooked me up with a bunch till my order gets here. Again it amazes me that how different we all are,, be it race,color, religion,sexual preference, politics ect ect
That we all come together under an umbrella of a community known as
REEFERS All over this state we all connect because of the love we have for our tanks and things having to do with the ocean.
(Me I like playing God) creating life in a box and keeping it going,, also how each and every one of us is willing to help the next guy,, paying it foward runs rampant in our community and the generosity never runs low,, Each and every one of you can look in the mirror and know
That you made a difference in someone’s life weather you know it or not. It makes me happy to know the world doesn’t suck and people no matter how different from yourself are generally good people.
And that’s what really matters
