Ok so the upgrade is coming and picking up the tank this weekend. I will be using the same stand and all equipment that is in my 80 gallon rimless.

The entire tear down and upgrade happened in one day on sunday. I started at 9:00am and finished cleaning up around 12:00am

2 vortech mp40's with battery backup
Vio 300 w titanium heater

Bubble Magus triple doser (cal, alk and mag)

The flowers where for the wifey. i had to get them or i would of been killed when i told her about the tank upgrade i was buying lol

looks great. how will your sps adjust to the lower amount of light? your old tank was 16" and there is an additional 8" of water now. do you plan on adding more rock?

Looks great. How do you like your skimz? I picked up a SL253 last week and only took an hour or two to start pulling out some nasty gunk.

Empire They are doing great at the moment and thank you. I will prob. lower the light a little more. i do not want to add anymore rock i love the open look and its great for flow.

Mike thanks buddy. i love the skims skimmer. It is a beast compared to the reef octopus and that was also a great skimmer ... i love that i can put it on feed mode and lower the air intake by clicking a button

Do you find yourself using the lower speeds often? So far I've just been running mine on full blast.

I had a problem a few days ago where my bubble magus doser stopped working and had to be restarted many times before it started functioning correctly. I only had the bubble magus text scrolling on the screen with no time. Then after a few resets i got the time but the time was stuck at 16:30:00. Restarted a few more times and got the time running. My alk got down to 5.6dkh so i had to get it back up within 2 days to 9.2dkh... I emailed them but have not heard back from them this is 3rd day since i sent the email...
