As long as the flow is erratic and it's not aggressively being pushed into one direction the torch will generally enjoy it. It will also tell you if it likes the flow or not by how much it opens.

That flow rate seems pretty good perhaps a tad bit lower.

yeah thats what I thought. it is in a perfect spot lighting/placement wise so ill have to adjust my wavemakers. ill just turn the one down a click or two.

also u should glue that hypnopora(?) or whatever it is. it's rocking a little, branchy stuff dont grow well if they are not secure down.

Yes it is a hydnophora. Also on the to-do list for today.

Oh absolutely but it's new in the tank, give it a few days to complete acclimating then mess around with it. When I get new shipment in I rarely touch it or mess with it until at least 4 days or so.
