Torch issues

This torch has one polyp with the tip off, I can’t understand why. No fish picked at it
Has any one experience this in torches.

So I lost my dragon soul torch a few days ago for what looks is the same thing. I took it out of the tank right after noticing it got this bad I didn’t want it to get the other sick!! Any information/advice?

Have you tried dipping them at all? Lugols would be a good start. I know "Kung fu corals" has a dipping solution/method that allegedly has great success. worth checking out as these torch corals are not cheap now a days... good luck!

Yeah it’s bacterial, it’s gonna whip through your hammers/frogspawns/torches. I have used the kfc dip and am pritty positive it’s what saved my hammer, and octospawn after my torch melted just like that.

I hope you an save it. My alk dropped and lost LPS and birdnest but this seems to be making a come back.

I tried to dipp the dragon soul but it looked to bad to try and then put it the tank again!! I also think is bacteria. And last night I added metronidazole wish will help the tank. So Godwilling nothing else will get worst
