So they send you a calibration fluid. To test and those numbers are way closer
To my Hanna checker. I like that I can buy what I need.
In my system I use more mag and calcium. My alk reagent last longer.
So I can buy 3 x of calcium and mag reagent and 1 x of the alk

I just like the custom Trident scheduling option. Because I only test Mag and Calcium three times a week...i can test alk 3 times a day. ABC reagents lets you buy them seprately where trident doesnt. Save a boat load this way in addition to cheaper reagents.

This guy (a chemist) who reverse engineered the formula originally posted the ingredients on R2R. Once he decided to go commercial and make and sell the reagents, he deleted all those posts. Best I can tell, it's simple ingredients and should be just fine. I know I make my own two part and spend less than five bucks a year to dose my 90 gallon tank.

I’ve been using ABC reagents and love the savings. I have absolutely no complaints. I don’t use his calibration fluid he sends with it I just calibrate to my tank water. Jonas is also very easy to get hold of if you have any questions.

I still think ABC is why Neptune never came out with auto nitrate and phosphate. Once their subscription model got undercut...it wasnt worth the hassle.
I think the Hanna tester that test multiple parameters also killed their business

Name? or forum handle

I believe he was removed from Reef2Reef. I could be wrong. He may have took himself out of that forum because of what happened.
I have been dealing with Jonas Buser. Very quick to get back to you if you have questions. Just send though email link on his website.
