Trip to Washington DC (Reason I had to miss the Swap) Pic Intensive

We had a great time in DC this weekend. Other than the almost 6.5 hour ride home (SUCKED). My kids enjoyed it a lot and they already want to go back.


I figured that I would just post links here and people can scroll through them if they want. Just be advised there are alot of them......

What is the photo with the fence and the two kids laying roses/carnations down? Obviously a memorial/tomb of some sort but wondering if you had more details?

That photo is my children at the Tomb of George Washington and Martha Washington at Mt Vernon.

very cool. DC can be a very fun place. Last time I went down there I ended up getting a hotel room right in between the inner harbor and DC. We spent a couple days at DC, then a couple at the inner harbor, then hit up a yankee v orioles game at camden yards.

Very cool pictures. Im going to have to go back.

We do the Inner Harbor thing every year. Wander around for a day or 2 and hit up a Yankees game. It's a fun little area there. I seem tonever get tired of the aquarium either.... wonder why.....

Well if the swap is always this weekend will be tough. It is Teacher's Convention, so the wife and kids are off.

2 summers ago we did Baltimore, went to Yanks game and did sight seeing...
