True union ball valves

Just curious, was the glue up of the plumbing done with the valve all screwed together as one piece?
Negative. I did each section separately. My last water system never leaked with normal ball valves and unions. Never once leaked. I truly think it's these valves that are supposed to be less "cheap"

Yes make sure they are aligned as you tighten them. Also check that there is nothing between and they are flush with eachother (maybe some of the melted pvc is leaking out from the cement?). If the 2 pieces dont connect easily, wiggle them until there isnt any resistance.

Actually just remembered this happened to me like 2 years ago. A tiny piece of plastic was between the rubber and plastic on the union to my pump and was the cause of it lol.

I cleaned all of them thoroughly even when extra cement was on face I used additional cleaner to melt it off

I heard Teflon on pvc pipe thread a no no because you can actually over tighten and crack the pvc
Even without Teflon over tightening is a no no. Rule of thumb is hand tight then another 1/4 turn. "i do plumbing for a living"

LOL. I wish you were closer. I would stop the leaks in 5 minutes.

I promise you that you wouldn't. I'm off to home Depot to buy normal PVC ones.

These things leak no matter what. They'll be good for 10 seconds and than water is pouring out. I removed all clamps and let the pipes sit natural and flush on the union and they leaked bad

It's frustrating because y'all think it's like inexperience but I've been plumbing my entire life. Never seen anything like this.

Re did my entire house including a 4inch San line not a single leak.

Ask Edwin who can figure out plumbing leaks faster then anyone...lol.. Then again, I have seen bad plumbing fixtures. I do know how frustrating leaks can be. Where do you live?

Clark. I already have normal ball valves and gluing it up. It'll look less pretty but it'll be leak proof.

Good luck. . Drink your beer after the leak is fixed. If you still have leaks after the new valves, I can take a day off and help you figure it out.

Standard ball valves from home Depot solved all my issues. No issues. I've finally got to other issues in my house that the wife is killing me on !! Haha victory. I added two unions and barely hand tightened them.. idk those valves from supply depot should never be used in.

Appreciate the offer though
