I feel the opposite for Lesner, I wanted him to win and the amount of trash talking Mir said before the match would tick me off to. Mir said all he does is two inch punches and hit's like his sister. Well Mir felt what Lesners 2 inch punches can do. I'm not sure what Mir's plan even was in the match, he never once tried to get Lesner off him on the ground, I don't know if he was trying to conserve energy knowing Lesner was stroner or what but you can't just let Lesner hold your head in his elbow and punch you in the face repeatedly, that's not going to win it for you.
After the fight, meh, yeah he was excited, the crowd boo'd him before & after for no real reason. The budlight comment was funny, the wife one was probably not necessary but oh well. The crowd hated Tim Sylvia while he was champ as well, it's good good for the sport if there's a badguy sometimes.
If I were Dana White I'd be a bit more ticked about Dan Henderson with the punch after Bisping was out, Dan's more respected & that punch was brutal, he's lucky Bisping got up eventually and as Dan said he normally wouldn't of done it but it was revenge. Least Brock stopped killing Mir when the ref jumped in.
Now the first fight of the night was a complete joke, the 30-27 score on the one card I don't understand, there was no way mr model/singer/UFC fighter won the 3rd round. You might be able to argue he won the 1st & 2nd, maybe, but the 3rd no way.
