Unexplained death

So I woke up to my foxface dead, my water params are fine but I can retest. I've had him for probably over a month and completely healthy always ate active swimmer and yesterday he just wasn't swimming. The two other clowns I have in the tank are fine and acting normal. Just want to know if there's anything I can test for to make sure the others are fine

It could be a number of things, stress, disease, parasites.. etc. sometimes fish are already infected with something coming into your home, more often than not actually. That is why QT is highly recommended for a couple of weeks to observe and try to treat if there is something. As far as your foxface goes, if your water params were all in order and nothing else could of stressed it, I bet it was already on the decline when you first introduced it to your tank.

These fish are sometimes caught by using cyanide. When they are collected using cyanide they tend to last a few months then their organs begin to fail. I would look into where the fish was caught.

This time of year I use to have the same issue. Finally with help from this club it was because of to much CO2 in the water from heat and keeping windows closed all winter.

You could also check for stray voltage.

CO2 is a serious possibility now that you describe it that way, we have the heat on all winter and I can't have my windows open or fan on because it drops the temp in my tank
