I've Been treating what I thought is inch. I now have a strong suspicion it's velvet I've lost a few fish and worried

Flame angel
Potters angel
Trio of Maldives anthias
Blue throat trigger
Long nose butterfly
Royal Gamma
Snowflake clownfish female

I have a 20 gallon quarantine tank on standby and can get 3 additional rubber maids quickly please advise.

I also got a 49 gallons of saltwater mixed up and can drain water from my display

According to this article, I don't think hypo can do anything to velvet bro

Treatment Option 6: Hyposalinity

While hyposalinity is a frequently recommended treatment for Marine Ich/Cryptocaryon irritans, against Marine Velvet/Amyloodinium ocellatum it is unlikely to be useful. Amyloodinium ocellatum can survive a much wider range of environments than can Cryptocaryon irritans. A salinity of 16 ppt for 28 days is usually recommended to kill Cryptocaryon irritans (Noga, 2000), but Amyloodinium ocellatum has been found in salinities ranging from 3 to 45 ppt (Noga, 2000), with its optimum range of salinity for reproduction at 16.7 to 28.5 ppt (Univ. of Florida). Clearly, lowering the salinity is not going to be effective.

I want to leave the reader with one short note on the use of hyposalinity for combating Cryptocaryon irritans before I continue. Hyposalinity has been extremely effective against Cryptocaryon irritans and likely will continue to be for some time. But, recent research has suggested that the salinity range of that parasite has expanded. I would suggest reading Terry Bartelme's article here regarding the adaptability of the parasite Cryptocaryon irritans in certain locales.

How long has it been? Velvet usually kills very quickly. You should start hypo as soon as you can if you plan to QT.
Again, velvet will wipe out the fish population in a few days, sometimes within 48 - 72 hours.

I'm going to hypo the big tank catch the fish and quarantine them In cooper desperately. I freshwater dipped that clown in the pic the slime fell off and it's swimming ok

Read THIS. Velvet is tough. Good luck. If you have success with the Cu, you might want to follow it with broad spectrum antibiotic to address any secondary infections.

It's been 2 weeks. I have held it at bay with quinine sulfate because I was treating for ich. It looked just like ich.

In truth I think I had ich as well. Now I'm dropping the SG I think also removing the quinine which makes the velvet get aggressive. So I'm going to pull them

I did it. I broke down my tank. Every single thing that I had in my tank is out I'll be running some fresh water through the system while my Wife and I take our time re-doing my rock work into something awesome. Gonna finish draining the tank tomorrow. Velvet is no joke . I don't want to take any chances.

All the fish are now in quarantine as soon as we get the rock back into the tank both of my containers will be making saltwater non stop. I had just enough cupramine to dose both tanks that have fish. I ended up using a clear Rubbermaid and my 20 gallon quarantine.

How fast does copper work?

You made a good decision breaking the tank down. It stinks in the short run, but you have given yourself the best chance of success in the future.
When I have used Cu in the past, I've seen a positive or a negative result begin within 24-48 hours, but I have never dealt with velvet.
Good luck!
You might want to buy an ammonia badge, I always use them when I have to set up a hospital tank.
