Using some Lace rock ?

I am trying to fill some empty spots in my tank. I need something that can give me height. I have some nice big pieces of lace rock left overs from my freshwater setup.
They are clean and have ben washed and dried in sun for days.

Would it be a good idea to use a couple of pieces to get some height. They will NOT be visible. I just want some base and then I can aquascape using my live rock.

I used some for shelves.. Just cure it like you would with any rock

Anyone else has any experience using lace rocks in a saltwater setup?

Yes. i have used Lace rock in our 55gal. Then in our 220g. and now i do have some nice show pieces in our 120 when we broke down the other two tanks. also have a decent amount of small pieces in my sump. never any issues other than it's a little on the heavy side
