When I had mine done I actually had to tell the dr to shoot me up with more numbing meds cause I felt pain after he hit me again. I was good to go. It is fairly quick in and out I drove myself home. Had it done on a Friday and was back to work on Monday. Just make sure you have tight supportive underwear.

Had one done a few years ago, local only. No issues at all, the thought is much worse than the action here. Make sure to get a few bags of frozen pees so you can rotate them in and out of the freezer. Rest and don't over do it for a few days. Very very simple procedure. My brother is also a Urologist and does these all the time, so I had the right resource to ask many many questions too.

The worst part was the very pretty 20something year old nurse that was in the room.

My Dr gave me the option to be awake or asleep. I chose awake. If you go to youtube and look it up there is a full video of a dr doing one. from start to finish. I had mine done on a Friday and coached soccer on Saturday.

That will be my problem too....there are two very pretty nurses in there.....mine will be awake.

Because one of the five biggest lies ever told is "it's ok honey, I am on the pill". I would tell you the others but they are inappropriate. Except for "I am from the government and I am here to help...."

The health risk associated with Vasectomy is nothing compared to all the forms of female birth control, its also 99% permenent, where as most of the female pills, shots etc are for when they are taken or done.

+1 birth control pills are a temporary solution.
