These pictures of one of the classroom tanks. It only has coral and inverts. There are vermetid snails in the live rock. Are these vermetid growing on the overflow and on the glass? I don’t feed this tank at all which makes me wonder why the snails would be multiplying.

the white lines/strings on the glass? i don't think those are vermetids. the ones i've had are all more of a goldenish brown. and there is more of a coil shape at the base where the snail lives and retreats too.
that looks more like feather duster worms, but probably too long and thing to be them too.

Worms makes sense since there are no fish that would have probably picked them off the glass.
