Very hard decision to make

I have a 90 gallon display tank and currently have my home on the market for sale. I've been holding on to an Oceanic 210 gallon tank in my garage for a couple of months now. I'm afraid that once its up and running that I will have to tear it down to move to a new location. This is the main reason that I have not set it up. The housing market is very slow and I've only had stragglers come see my home but no offers. I really want to set my 210 up so bad.

I was in the same boat a few months ago. and I waited. the tank was in the new house before furniture came in. that's my own 2 cents.

I have been in the same situation at my office with a 375. For nearly a year this building and several naighboring properties he holds have been listed, but at an outrageous price, so I wasn't really concerned. I guess my landlord fell on tough times and drastically cut the asking price. Still too much for me, but the build has sold and will close sometime in the month of June.

I am moving the offices by June 1 ... short of it is, good thing I did not set up the 375.

I am concerned it won't fit in the new space as well. Now I may have to set it up an an entrance way. I really don't want my beautiful ref tank in my entrance way, so I am still not sure what to do.

In your position, I'd wait until you make a firm decision one way or the other. These are tough times with more to come, so you don't want to waste money on plumbing and such just to pull it down.

What ever you do, good luck!

Nobody like a naysayer, but I think you should wait. I have stressed fish moving a 10 gallon, I could never imagine moving a 210g. Unless you can get 20 of your fellow reefers responsible for just moving 11g a piece I think you could do it. ;)

Bax, you were the first person I thought about when I wrote this post. I guess my garage will be enjoying the tank more than I will.

David, I'll see you Saturday.........

Thanks everyone.
