I'm not sure but this may or may not be the reason for some of my coral heading downhill, i'm going to be doing a large water change as soon as i can, after three doses it seems as though my cyano has increased.

It seems like it might be working in some areas, I've also added the larger skimmer and more gfo so I don't know if I can attribute it to just the product though

Alright, i'm noticing that the bryopsis doesn't seem to be growing, the rocks that you can see look clearer, this is with my old skimmer still on, since the new one is sidelined for a week or two, i'm not getting into that, lol. The second thing, the full dose pisses off some of my lps. Probably why i lost the gold hammer. I'm going to cut the dose from twice a week to once a week (instructions say twice a week for bryopsis), and also cut the dose in half and see if that works better, i'm not chancing losing anymore coral at this point, so i'll try and find the point where the coral are still happy and the algae is still losing.

Mine pissed off any hammers, it may or may not be effecting one of my torches, 1 of the frog spawns, goni, 1 chalice for sure, and i don't think my scoly's are fond of it. Acans don't care, neither does my nem or sps, zoas, lobo, duncan, i do think it may be upsetting my favia's.

Any other effects you are seeing trio? I'm taking off vodka dosing for now and just leaving my gfo online.

my hammer opened back up....he was only closed for about an hour or so

Maybe my dose was just high, but it's what it called for, I'll be trying lesser doses here and see

Looks like 5ml in roughly 140-150g of water volume doesn't seem to affect the corals at all. i'll probably keep it there for a while and maybe up it down the road depending, i'm trying for two doses a week but depending on what happens today, that may or may not get scaled back.

I have tried this product a couple of weeks ago, based on rave reviews on the R2R forum. My goal was to remove some nagging bubble algae growing inside the overflow and I also happen to have some Cyano at the time.

I did 3 doses at the recommended dosage and had to stop. It started causing some minor tissue damage to a few SPS corals. LPS and Zoas are less affected. Cyano also got worse I eventually removed it with chemi clean. It did slow down bubble algae growth somewhat.

Now I suspect this product is a broad spectrum algaecide. The observed effect is similar to that of AlgaeFix Marine (there was a thread on RC).

I stopped mine as well because it was agitating most of my lps, sps not so much. didn't seem to do anything for my tank, if anything it may even look worse.
