Vodka, Vinegar and Sugar dosers-

could I get a head count of who is using a combination or at least one of the three? I'm trying to compile some data together, Could you guys follow the format if its possible? (and please be brutally honest)

Dosing: all three, 1.0 mL total
Approximate water volume: 95 gallons
Coral type: SPS
Cyano algae: No
Hair algae: No, (except a few locations between rocks where fish can't get to)
Chaeto/macro remote or in sump: N
Water changes: 5%-10% every 2 weeks
Other supplements: Magnesium, Kalkwasser, CoralAmino
Salt: Reef Crystals 1.026

why did you start dosing?- Started dosing upon recommendation by a friend who had cyanobacteria and nitrate issues; read results from RC

Overall Results: Positive

Cyano algae: Yes
Hair algae: No
Chaeto/macro remote or in sump: No
Water changes: 30% every 1 - 1 1/2 week
Other supplements: Brightwells - MB7, Reef Bio Fuel, Koralcolor, Vit C, CoralAmino and Zeolite media
Salt: Instant Ocean

why did you start dosing?- read results from RC and to rid cyanobacteria

Overall Results:
Positive - Lots of growth, low Nitrate, Water very clear
Negative - Still have Cyanobacteria

Coral type: SPS
Cyano algae: Yeah, a fair amount
Hair algae: All faded and died after starting VSV
Chaeto/macro remote or in sump: N
Water changes: 25% per month
Other supplements: Brightwells --Potassium, Microbacter7, KoralKolor, just started Renew, CoralAmino, Kalkwasser. Planning to try the zeo rocks
Salt: TM/TM Pro

why did you start dosing?- Trying to get my acros to get some color. Also intersted in lowering nutrients
Overall Results: Positive

Huge amounts of foul skimmate are produced, about a 100% increase. Water is clearer. Algae is starving, even the wiry red plague, but I think the snails suffer as a result.

Cyano algae: Not that I'm aware of
Hair algae: No, Head and Shoulders Treatments
Water changes: 1 shower per day
Other supplements: Vitamin C = Orange Juice 5 oz per dose mixed with Vodka

why did you start dosing?- Off of work and bored.

Overall Results: Mixed results, seem to achieve desired results, then fell down and forgot everthing. Will have to repeat the experiment multiple times to insure accuracy.

Vodka = + 7-Up @ 3/4 /glass = A Drink

Vinegar = 1 cup / l to clean coffee pot. I use 100 % though

Sugar = 1 tsp / cup of coffee or 2 tsp / std bowl of cereal
