Washer water oxidizer

Not sure where to place this question so figured why not here.

This weekend the washer machine broke and wife went and purchased another. With that she also picked this up, see link. It oxidizes the water before going into the washer; cold water connection only, no detergent required. There is an extra connection for a water sprayer which we don't need.
I can connect my RO/DI unit this oxidizer device but is that a good or bad idea?

Thanks for reading, any advise appreciated.

Mark, I have no idea. But you can use a time tested method of oxidation on your reef if you want, check out Oxydators. I’ve been using one (the “W” model) for a few years now. I wouldn’t run a reef without one...

Dave, I was more concerned with RO/DI during the winter. Currently, I connect to an outside faucet but can't during the winter.
So am concerned running the oxidized water through the RO/DI unit.

If no one here can answer you, you may try Randy's forum on reef2reef.

Can't you tee off a line under one of your sinks?
