Can it be used to melt ice or as a brine before a snow- just wondering

Yes but will kill any plants or grass as well.

Don't want grass or plants in my drive ( gravel ) or walk- (pavers)- Hate to dump it down the drain- I have a septic system- not sure if it would hurt that

Salt water not good for septic system. I dump mine on my driveway

Not if you're going to toss it anyway- re purpose/ recycle

i dump it anywher and it doesnt kill nothing, of course i live on the water and we get salt water coming over our bulkhead on every big storm but the grass all lives fine, now i belive i have zoysia, but thats what my friend told me so
