We need more NJ Reefer Webcams ... happy to help!

I guess I missed the 'window' - after 3:30pm. PM me and I'll try calling you later today, re: IP forwarding, etc.

Great that you tried it! Would love to see you online!

i will leave it here for a while (don;t know for how long...)

this is the build in internal webcam for my laptop, i won't be able to have it lay there all days long (kids running around, knock over...etc.)

i will try to get a external cam and will figure out a better plan next...

Sandee - thx for your help.

VERY NICE! So cool to see other live (NJ) tanks online!

yeah, we need to get a special page to have ALL NY reefers webcam show it there...!
:D

for the ones that don't know - MOST of these pictures show here are dynamic (it changed from everytime you reloaded the page) [except the Sunny one].
;)
may be we could have a GROUP BUY of webcams? then have them all host under ONE thread?
;D

are you guys all using USB cams? I think i might grab one with a Ethernet connection. of course i really like the expensive PTZ camera's :)

I have all USB. I've used the LinkSys network cam, nice - but didn't really like the wireless features, so using the Ethernet wasn't needed.

so you have a dedicate PC or USB-HUB next to all your fish-tanks/web-cams?

i would like being able to use a Ethernet cable i would think it's faster = better quality? I dunno lol i gotta hit best buy i guess

One dedicated PC, one USB hub. Cables all over the Fish Room so I can move the cams around and display different tanks easily ...

One webcam hooked up to another PC in my office - that's KittyCam. But I 'manage' all the feeds via one WebcamXP console ... works well!

Pro and Private have that same multi-cam feature ...

Geez, this guy looks great at night. Almost looks like he's *glowing* ...
