Website 3 months review

Guys,
It has been about 3 months since the web committee worked on redesigning our website. Since then the site has taken on a new look and most, if not all, bugs have been worked out. With the re-design we have gotten: the Picture of The Month going again, updated photos on the slider, added the "Spotlight" section for up coming events and news, as well as started a new catgaroy called "Articles" with a forum labeled "Share and Learn".

We were wondering if there is anything that you guys would like to see added and/or changed to the site.

Please note any suggestions made will be reviewed with the Web Committee and Board of Directors before any decsion is made to add/change.

@njtiger24 aquariums ,,, i was looking at the Calendars for the next couple of months and haven't seen any up coming events that are scheduled on there.. Fragswap, frags at the fire house or next meeting dates, i know some are posted on the home page but i was just wondering why not on the calendar? thanks

@Skaters216 the calendar isn't a feature that is used. I know we have talked about it before and we weren't sure if people even looked at it; I know I don't lol.

I like the calendar if you want to look at an upcoming event for the month or any month it's just a click instead of searching the site, I know it on home page like I said but if the options there we should use it. I click on it just to see if it's been updated or not. Imop I like having a calendar for this forum, I've been on other forums and it's all about what for sale unlike this one that seems to be very hobby friendly. As far as I can tell from the people I meet so far. Very generous and always looking to help out.. @njtiger24 aquariums

Agree this site is more about hanging out and the hobby over selling and "my tank bigger than yours" like other sites/groups. I know when the committee has talked about the calendar and the gallery sections of the site. At that time we didn't believe either of those were used so we left them as is. I can bring it back up with the group.

Thanks, I tell my brothers who tanks are bigger than mine, lol, about this site doesn't have the traffic other do But it's really about the hobby here and that's all. I would like to see the calendar schedule dates and stuff and the gallery pics would be great to show off new pieces we aquire and maybe to brag a little amongst FRIENDS!!! lol
