Hello~~~

Back to the hobby after my tank crashed in 2016. The reefing bug came back and has hit me hard. Purchased a waterbox infinia frag 155 and will be going mixed reef, but heavy on the sps.

I'm in bergen county around the Paramus area if there are any other local reefers.

Im Scott, started reefing about 5-6 months ago. Live in Fair lawn, ny two boys love aquariums and going to them, so I figured start a freshwater tank. Mo fh later was getting reading for a SW tank. Bought a biocube for a mantis shrimp, then had to move into a 75 gal rimless with sump. System is running on neptune apex 3 pro, Cor20 pump and all the neptune goodies. I own 2 small businesses one new jersey based and the other i contract to do large scale events. One in particular i do is the power for all of Metallicas M72 tours. The other is a home lighting company called Trimlight of North Jersey. Happy to be here. I have lots to learn

Welcome Scott. Another Metal Head on the forum.
Going to be two months of worrying about my tank, Metallica, Pantera, Ice Iine Kills, suicidal Tendencies and Limp Bizkit. Went with neptune so I could monitor and co trol everything from afar and have my nephew do some cleaning and feeding in my absence

Hello everyone, my name is Eddie and I just moved to New Egypt, NJ from the Boston suburbs in December. I started keeping freshwater fish when I was 5 and never looked back. I've been keeping reef tanks at some capacity for 16 years now but recently started focusing on SPS. I still keep fresh water but haven't started any tanks here yet, I use to breed neocardinia shrimp and dwarf cichlids so I'll probably go in that direction again.

I started a SPS dominant CADE S2 2100 with a 150 gallon rubbermaid basement sump system that features a separate 57 gallon softie/macro algae refugium and a 7' acrylic shallow frag tank. I fragged my old colonies when I moved so everything had a chance to grow into their new surroundings. I haven't added any new coral since the move but will be starting to fill it in this week.

First picture was on New Years Eve, second picture was right now. Can't wait to meet all of you and share my system!IMG_4160.jpegView attachment IMG_5234.jpeg
