Went on a "little" roadtrip

Today I finally visited a friend of mine, who has some SW tanks (and other critters). Brought the camera along, and thought I'd share some pictures.

The most amazing thing about his tanks are is that he uses TAPWATER ONLY to mix his saltwater. Granted, there aren't any stonies, but let me tell ya, his softies do look A M A Z I N G. And his fish are SO healthy and happy - as are his anemones.

Brace yourself for tons of pics now:

And lastly....my favorite critter...and the main reason I went to visit: Meet "Miracle". ;D

Thank you all for looking. :)

ty so much for coming by and visting and taking the pics, love the pics, just didn't like that you left out my boy "DAKOTA" AND "ELVIS", i'm so glad you came by and you love miracle as much as we do, feel free to come by anytime to visit her, i would bring her by your house but you know who won't like that. the pics came out beautiful, i'm so glad you enjoyed yourself. (It's about time you got down here to see our "family"... and if you think you are smuggling a "Miracle" out of this house without someone here noticing, you are crazier than I am! love ya Wendy!)

Terrific pics,Great looking tank, colors are great, and healthy and happy looking snake. Thanks for sharing..(wonders if Wendy would take some pics of my setup...lol)

awesome tanks! Thanks for sharing!!

great example of sticking by something that works...hey if tap water works...go for it.

I just get hordes or diatoms/algae! :p

btw - does miracle need live food?

yes she does, and ty about the tanks, my softies love the tap, hate r.o. water, tried it and they didn't like it. so sold it. don't recomment, it to know one, but it works for me.

I guess you're not afraid of snakes!

Nope. ;D As a matter of fact, I've been wanting a Ball Python for years and years. Unfortunately Alex is absolutely petrified/horrified of them. Good thing that my GF told me I can get one and keep her at her house. <evil grin>

ah ha, i finally get to see kirk's tank. i think ive seen some of those corals before...lol
hey Wendy, want to take pics of my reptiles next time?

You know I do. Especially because it'll give me a reason to stop by and play with your snakes again. ;D YAY!!

Your friends tank is looking nice. I know a guy who tops off with untreated tap. I tell him he's crazy, but it really doesn't seem to negatively effect his LPS and Softies. He has had problems with hair algea blooms though, but his sea hairs always happy about that. Ugly little guys, haha. Also, that snake is beautiful. I would love to keep one someday, but I don't have the stomach to feed something live mammals...but I've always loved them.
