What a difference a background can make

I was looking through the WTS thread here, and suddenly felt inspired by a picture - or should I say I felt "daring"?

Anyway, I decided to remove the background to see whether I like it. I LOVE IT!

Here are a couple of pictures.

My tank has quite some scratches, and those are somewhat less noticable now that the background is gone.

It looks great. I can't believe how clean your back glass is! Do you clean it? Ours is almost completely purple.

Thanks Deb. Yeah, I clean the back glass once a week when I do my water change. I just scrape wherever I can reach without knocking anything over. There are a few spots where there's quite some coralline algae that I can't get, but that's all right.

I know I am most definitely out of room. Don't want to start cramping things, and everything's growing nicely for me.

Of course, far in the back of my head I am already dreaming/fantasizing about a bigger tank.
