Water changes work until your alk consumption is high enough for water changes to not be enough. I do them weekly but my alk drops in between those days so I have to dosewater changes.Simpler !
I've been looking at the ESV so I wanted to know if it was worth the $35-40+ per container that they sell it at.I believe nothing gives you the stability of 2part.
So I dose esv 2 part and that takes care of my alk/calcium
My magnesium doesn’t really change. I dose 100 ml a day of alk and 60ml of calcium.
I have trident testing all day so I can see how flat my numbers are. I also dose kalkwasser on a doser every hour (150 ml) and that keep my PH above 8. I buy the esv by the bucket so that keeps my cost down. I also found that dosing kalk I use less esv.
What's the kent trace elements used for? (It sounds self explanatory i just wanna know if there's more to it)220ml of Alk 150ml cal from BRS, with Kent trace elements.
I'm going through about 8 mls a day of all so idk if a calc reactor is worth it yet lol. But apparently ESV seems to be a popular choiceCalc reactor and a few gallons of kalk a day for me. I have esv connected to a doser on standby in case I need to make any adjustments.

Just other trace minerals that calcium amd alkalinity alone does not provide. Iodide, strontium and other essential minerals I don’t rememberWhat's the kent trace elements used for? (It sounds self explanatory i just wanna know if there's more to it)
Last ICP i got, my Iodine was at 0 so idk if i should start trying to manually add some in
I had no idea esv had trace elementsIt’s very concentrated I think it’s worth it. I was dosing 160 ml of BRS to keep the same numbers. I also like that it has all the minor trace elements. So my vote is for esv.
I use ESV 2 part, Alk and Calcium. Have 2 Kamoer doses I plan to use. Also, considering All for Reef and just have thing to dose.
