What do you think about my sump?

Well here is an update on my sump. I finally got it running. Since my first idea wasn't going to work, I drilled three more holes and kept the output of the skimmer to drain in the same compartment which the skimmer is in. I am very happy the way it came out. I want to thank all of you for your inputs. If you still think that I have to change something, please let me know. Oh, the section on the left will be the refugium. I haven't plumbed it yet. But will soon. I will post another pic when its all really complete.

It looks great. Savor this pic of it looking so clean . . . It ain't gonna look like this for long!

Nice job. You have given me ideas with your sectional design, thanks! Did you still have to cut the center brace?? It looks cut in the pics.

Off topic question regarding your GFI strip. I had some in the past that would trip during a power outage. Does yours do this or is it one of the "self resetting" types? Thanks again.

Yeah, I had to cut the center brace :(. It was a newbie mistake. When I was drilling the holes, I had both section held with clamps just so the holes would align correctly when I remove the section apart. While drilling the holes with a hole saw, I didn't realize that the acrylic was melting between the two section and welded it self together . I couldn't pry them apart without breaking the acrylic. Lesson learned......

On the GFI..... I haven't had anything trip so far and I have added more stuff since then.
