Of the thousands of seaslug/nudibranches -I'm sure there is one that loves to get it's mouth on a majano anemone. If not then I'm sure there is the non-reef safe Angels...
Given that neither natural solution may work - I think it is acceptable to consider using a solution that isn't "natural". But I totally understand where you are coming from...for me personally it means extra vigilance during the QT stage (not saying you didn't do this) - and if that fails, then unfortunately resorting to chemical warfare.
