Mine is around 140. I thought mine was low it seems we are all kind of low. My water heater is like 20 years old and still going ...

I live in Vernon (Sussex County)... I have well water and my water has a TDS around 600ppm...

I bought an RO / DI system and it can't handle/process this water..

Has anyone found a way to process their own tank water with this level of TDS?

With well water your problem is likely high co2. Are you going through a lot of DI? If this is the case you can process the water through all stages except the DI, then aerate the water with an air pump and airstone to drive off the excess co2. After aerating run the water through the DI.

Yeah burned through a new DI in 30 seconds... I'm at a loss after spending $250 on this unit in prep for my new tank...

What does the above setup look like?

I would imagine at 600 that that is pretty hard water. Do you have a water softener in the system....that would help with the hardness. Now CO2 is another issue.

on my ro unit....the "in" line fluctuates from as high as 170+ to 190+....roselle nj.....

112 from a well 293 ft deep in the sour land area of hillsborough. Water testing shows better quality with regards to toxic material than those with city water. Cheers!
