No I would go with the MRC-2 and a Blueline 55 Pump

The Coralife needle wheel skimmer is great. I have one in my 20 Gal sump, but it can also hang on the back if the tank. I have the 125Gal model, they also make one for up to 65Gal and 250Gal. Been running it since November. The smaller model will run you $65.

Got mine from Pet solutions (Ohio), will be here in 2 days or so with regular shipping.
