What sand do you use?

I will be moving my tank next month. I currently have caribsea special grade reef sand aragonite, but I'm open to new sand.

might want to try the tropic eden sand, that is being sold by PA. On RC lots of people rave about it, and it i've got no complaints. It's super white, and really nice side. It didn't make the tank nearly as cloudy as i was expecting, and within a day or two, the water was crystal clear. Two 750 hydor powerheads have not blown any particles into the water, but i did do a quick rinse before using the sand. I've been using mini-reef flakes, but i think i'm going to buy a bag or two of the regular reef flakes.

We use figi pink live sand in all our tanks and have done so for years. Not too fine, not too course and does not create sandstorms.

I'm a Fiji Pink fan also. Saturday I'm moving my tank and I'll be switching Fiji Pink for Fiji Pink!

Whatever you end up with make sure it has some bigger bits in it. It makes the Pistol Shrimps life much easier. Either that or smash some left over rock real good and add that to where the shrimp is.
