What size Mp for a 40B

So im looking to pickup a mp powerhead in the future. i will get the newest one available(idk if this matters in terms of power). I was wondering if a mp10 would be okay for my 40B along with my return or would I need a stronger one. If so which one do you reccomend. This will be predominantly SPS/Zoas with a few chalice and acans on the bottom

EDIT: what is the difference between the es and wes?
And what happened to mp20's?

One is wireless, as in it will sinc with other mps so they all run together. I have run a mp10 on my 45 cube but that is a 2x2 tank. I am not sure with the lenth of a 40b if that will be enough. This is where an mp20 would probably be perfect excpet they don't make those anymore. A mp40 would solve all your problems but you will never run it at full speed, and of course they are expensive.

Other quick comments/questions: Do you want to use any other powerheads or just this one? What is your return gph? What corals do you want to ultimalely keep?

Kyle I was using 2 mp10's in my 90. It's sufficient but I feel I could use some more. I added a koralia 750 but as soon as I can I plan on another mp 10. I think one would be light for a 40. But like mike said the 40 is expensive and you would have to go full power to span the space. Two mp 10's would be perfect for the breeder. IMO.

I think my return is max of 600 but I could be wrong. What I plan to keep is mostly sps and if I go with the vortechs then I only want them.

Maybe I'll go with two 10 like jgraz suggested

IMO I would go with 1 mp40. Your gonna spend the same amount for 2 mp10s. Then it will only be 1 motor in the tank not 2. I understand that you wont used the pump to max speed but if you ever upgrade to something bigger you won't have to upgrade .

I have 1 MP-10 in my 40B FOWLR and it really moves some water (and sand at max RPMs)! Having two MP-10's at opposite ends would be INSANE flow in a 40B and create great random flow. If you do two MP-10's or one MP-40 do not have sand in the tank!!! My one MP-10 is 3" below the waterline, any higher and it sucks air, any lower and it sucks up even more sand.

Well I already have sand so nlw im worried and thanks dan but I have to wait till after the swap unless I find an insane deal
