Here is my 2002 WRX, it has a few mods done.

sorry to hijack - but I am so green when it comes to understanding cars.

I went to get my oil changed and the mechanic suggested I change out the transmission fluid and the fuel injection. I had both of these items done about 13 months ago.

Since that time I've put on 6,000 miles on the car (its an automatic transmission).

How often am I supposed to change these two items?

Anyone here race their car?

My father races quite often. We used to have a hobby -- ice skating and hockey. I stopped skating because my feet are beyond screwed up by being misdiagnosed for years as having flat feet (and now, subsequently, having broken bones in my feet).

So, we've been kind of "meh" for a while hobby wise. I got the car and raced it with him and it opened a new door almost.

Nice to find something you enjoy with a loved one!
