Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Well, AO is far for me, so I never had the pleasure. I frequent Something Fishy in Bath PA (i think), 40 min away. Todd is shy but a great guy. They have great prices and tons of stock.
If you are willing to kill and entire day, and spend about 2 1/2 to about 5 hours each way on the drive to get there, I highly recommend a road trip to Pacific East Aquaculture. They do seem to be a sponsor of NJRC, and you can get to it and back in a day, so I suppose you can consider it a LFS.
All those corals you see in their pictures are right there for you to look over and choose. You'll also find specials on small frags, sometimes at in store prices of 12 frags for $99. These frags are going to be more or less common ones, but at that price, it's a good way to get an SPS collection started.
The fish selection is good, but not something you can't duplicate locally. There are only a few dry goods sold, like frozen foods, dry foods, coral glue, books, and other small items that you just can't seem to find locally.
